The process of recruiting in our team is not only a tool - it’s a tool for team-building and cultivating work culture from the basics. We aim for each step of the process to be well thought out, fair, and to add value, not only for us but also for the candidates.
Not long ago, we had the opportunity to participate in a unique event - Meet Up: Gothic Edition, which we were invited to by CD-Action. We had the pleasure of briefly presenting our project - The Story of Nek. This unique event connected many Gothic fans and mod authors, creating an unforgettable atmosphere full of passion and engagement.
With pride we inform you that on the 1st of February 2025 we are taking part in the CD-Action MeetUp: Gothic Edition, which will take place in Warsaw’s H.4.0.S Club, near Marszałkowska 64 street. This unique event dedicated to the cult Gothic series and its modding community is something you simply cannot miss!
It's been a year since the announcement that our modification is being developed. We have decided to publish material describing our plans and how the work went throughout the year.
From the beginning of our work on the technical side of The story of Nek, we tested various approaches to programmers' work, with better or worse results. But at the end of the day, after more than a year in production, we have clarified processes and tools that improve the work. If you're interested in the field of Gothic modding or just like to look "behind the scenes," then you came to the right place, because there is a lot of meaty stuff.
If you have been in contact with Gothic modding, you have certainly met with such terms as "script packages" or "plugins". However, what are they? To answer that question, we must return to the beginning - the release of MDK (Mod Development Kit) tools for Gothic.
